The Board of Directors Election of July 13, 2019
The Board of Directors Election of July 13th, 2019. This July, there will be five seats on the Board up for election. Four positions for three (3) years and one position for two (2) years. According to the By-laws, no nominations can be made from the floor on July 13th. Additionally, all candidates will have the opportunity to write a brief statement which will be published with the notice of the meeting. Anyone interested in being a candidate must do the following: (1) Get a petition from the POC Office, which must be signed by 10 deeded property owners in good standing (it is recommended that you secure more than 10 signatures). A deeded property owner may sign as many petitions as they wish. However, they may only sign once on any petition and there may only be one signature per property on any petition. (2) Please write a statement of no more than 250 words telling about yourself and why you wish to serve on the Board. The statement is recommended but not mandatory. (3) All petitions and written statements must be handed in to the office no later than 12 Noon on May 17, 2019. If you need to mail your statement and petition, please mail it to the office postmarked by May 10, 2019.
This year we will have a Meet the Candidates Town Hall Meeting on Sunday morning, May 26th and Friday evening, July 12th in the Property Owners Lounge. The exact times will be determined at a later date.
This year there will be no question and answer session on the day of the Meeting.
