Governor Wolf Update
Update from Governor Wolf
Yesterday Governor Wolf added restrictions to help curb the spread of Covid 19. These restrictions went into effect 7/16/20 at 12:01AM and include the entire state of Pennsylvania.
The major impact of the restrictions will affect the operation of the Summit Bar and Restaurant including the Tiki bar.
Below are the restrictions put in place with explanations of how they will impact Masthope.
All bars are prohibited from conducting operations unless they offer sit-down, dine-in meals. Masthope complies and will continue operation.
Alcohol only can be served for on-premises consumption when in the same transaction as a meal. All alcohol sales must include the purchase of food.
All service must be at a table or booth; bar service is prohibited. All seats at the bar will be removed, there will be no walk-up service at bar.
Take-out sales of alcohol for the purposes of off-site consumption are permitted subject to any limitations or restrictions imposed by Pennsylvania law. Take out drinks must leave the licensed area which is the commons area including the lodge, pool area and all grass areas in the commons area between the office and lodge.
Limited to 25 percent of stated fire-code maximum occupancy for indoor dining. The dining area in the Summit will be further spaced.
A discrete indoor event or gathering in a business in the retail food services industry is limited to 25 persons. No events greater than 25 people will be scheduled for the Summit Bar and Restaurant.
Gyms and fitness facilities
All gyms and fitness facilities, while permitted to continue indoor operations, are directed to prioritize outdoor physical fitness activities. All activities must follow masking requirements as provided by the July 1 order, and must provide for social distancing requirements of persons being at least 6 feet apart. Currently Masthope fitness center is operating on a reservation only basis, there are many organized outdoor activities, please check the schedule.
Your continued support in the fight to curb the spread of Covid 19 is greatly appreciated. If we fail to comply with guidelines given by the state or federal government we risk closing of our facilities and most importantly put the health of our staff, members and guests at risk.
