This July, there will be four total seats on the Board up for election (3 seats for a 3 year term, and 1 for a 2 year term.)
According to the By-laws, no nominations can be made from the floor on July 8th. Additionally, all candidates will have the opportunity to write a brief statement which will be published with the notice of the meeting.
If you are interested in being a candidate you must do the following:
- Get a petition from the office or from the Property Owners area of our website and secure the signature of (10) deeded property owners in good standing. It is strongly recommended that you secure more than 10 signatures. A deeded property owner may sign only once on a petition and there may be only one signature per property on a petition. A property owner may sign more than one petition.
- Please write a statement of no more than 150 words talking about yourself and why you wish to serve on the Board. The statement is recommended, but not mandatory. Please provide a photo to have published with your bio.
- All petitions and written statements must be handed in to the office no later than 12pm on May 12, 2023. If you need to mail your statement and petition, please mail it to the office postmarked by May 08, 2023.
This year we will have a Meet the Candidates Town Hall Meeting on Sunday morning May 28th at 10am and Friday evening July 7th at 7pm in the Property Owners Lounge.
