If you enjoy holding, touching and learning about fascinating animals that are rarely seen close-up, we have great news! Critter Connections experienced animal presenters are ready to provide an educational and entertaining animal presentation for our community inside the lodge. Critters to expect: Corn snakes, milk snakes, king snakes, ball pythons, and red tail boas A variety of tortoises and water turtles Bearded dragons, leopard geckos, fat tailed geckos, crested geckos Tarantulas, hissing cockroaches Frogs and toads Rabbits and guinea pigs

Join us at The Lakeside Grill for an evening of ocean delights! $20 - One fresh clam bag, fresh shrimp, fresh mussels, crawfish, sausage, corn on the cob, potatoes, and choice of side - Cajun macaroni salad or coleslaw - no pre-registration necessary (pay at The Lakeside Grill for food ticket) BYOB / Non alcoholic refreshments also available. A Masthope favorite returns! Save the date for our cardboard boat race. Teams of up to 6 people are challenged to get creative and construct a boat made entirely from corrugated cardboard and navigate it across our upper pool from one side to the other and back. Teams will consist of a captain, first mate, and up to a four person crew. Judging and awards will be for fastest finish time, most creative design and most dramatic sink. 20 teams may register on a first come first serve basis. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - MEET AT THE TOP OF THE SKI MOUNTAIN 9:00 A.M. Please contact Frank Hofman for additional information or to sign up - hofworx@ltis.net We will be hiking the mountain for our fourth annual mountain cleanup... looking for discarded hidden treasures and clearing debris! Take home what you find and put the rest in the trash bags provided. Dress appropriately for being outside on the mountain. Gloves, bug spray and closed toed shoes are necessary. Transportation will be provided back to the top of the mountain at the end of the cleanup.
